- Sheridan County Museum: Learn about the Rosebud, the longest battle of the Great Sioux War of 1876 and forerunner to Custer’s Last Stand. Also learn about mining and railroads in the area.

- Shell Falls: See 3,600 gallons of water per second tumble through a water-chiseled rock canyon.
- Elk and Buffalo Pasture: Next to Kendrick Park not far from downtown Sheridan, you’ll find a pasture often populated by some of the biggest game in Wyoming.
